From the Classrooms:

St. Joseph's Room:
Dear Parents:

Please make sure your child has a change of clothes and that they are marked clearly with their name on each item of clothing.

If your child is having a birthday we ask that they buy a book for the room or something from the Birthday Wish List, we will make the birthday treat with the children in the room.

Reminder:  If your child is 3 they must be potty trained in order to move to the next room, there will be no availability in the 2yr, old room for children who are 3.

Ms. Carolyn, Sr. Guadalupe and Ms. Amie

St. Therese's Room:
Dear Parents:

We had a great time at our spring sing at St. Agnes Home.  Thank you to all the parents that attended.

We had a very nice turn out for our Mother’s Day play date.  Thank you mommies, for coming in for our play date.

We have more special dates planned:
May 20--Pizza Picnic
June 19--Father’s Day Play Date

We would also like to remind everyone to check their child’ locker for a full change of clothes, extra underwear and blanket for naptime.  Please bring a jacket each day because the weather is very transitional.

Ms. Emily, Ms. Erica, Ms. Dolores, Sr. Anna Maria, and Ms. Mona

Bl. Maria Teresa's Room:
Dear Parents:

With Ms. Annette out on medical leave we will be having Ms. Robbie coming in from time to time along with Sr. Anna Maria and Sr. Mary Gabriel.  Ms. Robbie helped the sisters open the day care in 1985 and taught until 1993.  Sr. Mary Gabriel was an assistant in Bl. Maria Teresa’s room until she went to Holland we welcome her back in June.

We hope the transition will be an easy go as we move children to other rooms and new children arrive, please be patient with us during this transition.

Remember to have a full change of clothes in your locker that is labeled clearly with your child’s name.

Thank you,
Ms. Annette, Ms. Besima, and Ms. Alice

St. John of the Cross:

From the Director's Desk:

Dear Families,

Everyone at Carmelite hope you had a very blessed Easter and now are ready for spring.  We also want to thank you for your kindness and support in our many projects!

Our small fund raiser we had made $600.00!  Thanks to all who participated.  We are planning to do work on the playground for the erosion and repairs. Every little bit helps for this big project.

May brings us many exciting things:  May crowning, family picnic, farewell Mass and classroom transitions with new faces.

We will soon start the new session for summer on May 26, which is a Tuesday after Memorial Day, so the children will start to gradually go over to the next rooms.  Also a reminder to all in St. Joseph’s room if you are 3 you will be moving.

May God bless all our Mothers on their special day!

God bless,

Ann Cunningham

Prayer Corner:

A Mother's Prayer

Help me, dear Lord, as a mother, I pray
And bless these folded hands in prayer today;
May they be ever strong as they guide,
As they teach
Being never too far for a child to reach.
May they never, with selfishness,
Try to dissuade,
Nor too quickly punish, nor too slowly aid,
May they point out the pleasures
In song and laughter,
And may they show wisely,
The right form the wrong.
So that one day I’ll know that
I’ve helped all I can,
To make her a woman, to make him a man.
